The new entry system, known as the Entry/Exit System (EES), aims to streamline the process of entering and exiting EU countries. Preparing for Travel

Travellers are encouraged to ensure their passports are valid for at least three months beyond their planned departure date from the EU. Additionally, it is advisable to allow for extra time at border control to accommodate the new checks.
