Community Initiative for Youth Empowerment

The Gaff at Forres House Community Centre is on a mission to enhance its outreach by participating in the Just Transition Participatory Budgeting process. This initiative aims to secure funding of £22,200 to purchase an electric van, which would enable the youth club to bring its services directly to where they are most needed.

Why an Electric Van?

With sustainability being a key focus for many communities, opting for an electric vehicle is not only environmentally friendly but also aligns with the growing trend toward reducing carbon footprints. The proposed van would allow The Gaff to travel to various locations, expanding access to their programs for young people across the region.
