Church Bulletin Highlights for November 29, 2025
Community Announcements
This week, the Yellow Banks Church of Christ located at 3600 Frederica St. in Halifax Square is excited to share several community events and updates with its congregation.
Upcoming Events
Join us this Sunday for a special service that will include a guest speaker who is well-known for their inspirational talks on community service and faith. The service starts at 10:30 AM, followed by a potluck lunch where everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite dish to share.
Additionally, on December 6th, we will host a Christmas outreach program aimed at providing assistance to local families in need. Volunteers are welcome to help with donations and distribution, which will take place from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Weekly Bible Study
Our weekly Bible study continues every Wednesday at 6 PM. This week, we will explore the Book of Psalms, a collection of hymns and prayers that are central to Christian worship. Did you know that the Book of Psalms is the longest book in the Bible, containing 150 chapters? Join us for a deep dive into its themes of praise, worship, and lamentation.
Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry will meet on Saturday at 3 PM for a fun afternoon filled with activities, including crafts and games that teach biblical lessons. Parents are encouraged to join in and experience the joy of our youngest members learning about faith.
Special Note
As we approach the holiday season, we encourage everyone to reflect on the spirit of giving. It’s a wonderful time to support our local charities. Remember, the church is collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the local food bank throughout the month of December.
Fun Fact
Did you know that over 1,000 different hymns have been created based on the Psalms? This reflects the profound impact these ancient texts continue to have on worship and music today!
